The Distressing Damsel
February 25, 2002

Hey, chica! Long time, no post!

THE TAPES DIDN'T WORK?!?!!? Godsdamn it! *frustrated scream* That is so not cool! If you hear about Dubya Bush getting a furious letter from a foreign chick demanding why things can't just do what you want them to... then it's me. *angry face*

On a different note... you think I'm a good friend? *warm fuzzies* Chica, you have no idea how much that means to me. I'm going through some total shit in real life at the moment (that I really would rather not talk about, if that's OK with you - online is the one place I can get away from it)... that's bad enough that I was crying on my mother's lap about killing myself the other day. Seriously. So, I sign on and I see that - and I just started crying when I read it. Thank you so much.. it means more to me than I can tell you reading that.

OK... reading through this page... junk that catches my eye (Have computer, will babble):

FF.N has decided it doesn't love me right now and will not let me check out Drama Princess' 'how to win.... of a poet'; review her new one. (a SEQUEL! WHEE!) Come to think of it, it wouldn't let me review her old one, either. *shrug* It won't let me read Glitter's new one either.

These would be MR fics, right? Because if they were X/A you would have mentioned them to me before... wouldn't you? *grin*

Speaking of fics: I found those links I was telling you about before.

  1. The Brass Jar

  2. The Brass Jar II

  3. The Americanization of Ares

  4. The God of War Takes a Holiday

  5. The Great Mount Olympus Ambrosia Contest of 1999

I told you this before, but they're a little graphic in some parts (sex scenes) - but I just skipped those. The rest is hilarious.

What's Camille? A movie? About what... fill me in.

Crossroads? That movie looks so boring!!! I saw a clip of it on TV and damn, does it look lame. Speaking of Britney - she has ANOTHER new song out? That's three since October. Methinks the chick is striking while the iron's hot.

You saw Lyre Lyre? It's so funny, isn't it? I love that episode. In the WAR! song at the beginning, the Amazon-cum-whore chica sings somthing about "The thought of war just blows my mind" - and I think it sounds like she's saying the GOD of War. Don't blame the chick actually. *shrug* I just felt like saying that.

I did that colour test too - and I also got green. Pity I don't really like that colour. *shrug*

I watched (taped, actually, being as it was on at 2am Sunday night) the closing ceremony of the Olympics - you guys know how to put on a party! The commentator said there were 9,000 and something fireworks let off - and the display only lasted about five minutes! It was pretty damn spectacular.

Christina Aguilera sung - damn, her song is HOT! I love it so much! I hardly know any of the words, but I am humming it and making them up

I am full-blood boricua
Dee dum dee dee da dum dum
He says "Mami, I need ya"
dooby dooby doo

It rooooocks!

Distressing Damsel
No, I am not a damsel in distress. I don't need to be rescued (just yet). Maybe later. But for right now, I'm just a sixteen year old girl with a blog who whines, obsesses, adores, loves, freaks out and otherwise makes her opinions well known.
I am the Distressing Damsel, who is both distressing to others and to myself, with a skin featuring the beautimous Jen Garner as Syd Bristow and gorgeous Michael Vartan as Agent Amorous... er, Vaughn. You could set your heart by his watch, honest.

Bob: Can you keep a secret? I'm trying to organize a prison break. We have to first get out of this bar, then the hotel, then the city, and then the country. Are you in or you out?
Charlotte: I'm in.
