"LIVIA (
Roman family name which may be related to either Latin liveo "to envy" or lividus "blue, envious". Titus Livius, also known as Livy, was a Roman historian who wrote a history of the city of Rome)
Virginia (I love the way you pronounce it in spanish Ver-hin-ni-ya. that's my hairstylist's name)"
You BETTER like the name Livia. *grin*
I had a friend at camp called Virginia. She was from Venezuela and she was the funniest girl! She was obsessed with Kevin from the Backstreet Boys, and she'd sing about him all the time, in her cute Spanish accent:
Keeviiiin, I looove you
Keeviiiin, ...
*snicker* She cracked me up.
She never liked her name being pronounced the English way, so we always used to kid her about it. She had this kick about the pronouncation: apparently in Spanish the word "Ver-gi-ni-ya", with the g is a swear word. *shrug* She was crazy.
I miss her, though - she never came back one year. :-( I was real good friends with her as well, but the email address she gave me didn't work. *pout*
Just felt like sharing.
